e-KENT C in the streets of Munich, during IAA Mobility

At the IAA Munich Mobility 2021 event, taking place for the first time in Munich from 7 to 12 September, the mobility of the future will be presented, a commitment to constant change and a platform for all those shaping the future. Otokar, together with its partner Webasto, will be demonstrating the e-KENT C 100% electric city bus on the Blue lane, moving from one exhibition area to another. Passengers are invited to join the journey and discover the e-KENT C vehicle.
The 12m e-KENT C bus can accommodate more than 100 passengers, depending on battery capacity and operator requirements. Maximum power is 340 kilowatts (455 bhp) with maximum torque of 40,000 Newton metres. The e-KENT C is powered by Webasto lithium nickel manganese cobalt oxide batteries. Up to ten batteries can be installed, with a total storage capacity of up to 350 kilowatt-hours. The electric bus has a range of over 300 kilometres, depending on the topography and usage profile.
